I thought I felt good until I started taking all of the Green Foods products and now I wonder how I managed without it! I can't believe my how much my running has improved. My nutrition has been fine tuned and my energy level has shot through the roof! As a competitive ultra-marathon runner this is a huge advantage. Green Foods is 'complete nutrition' for active lifestyles and for anyone wanting to improve their overall health and well-being. I've noticed my digestive system is more efficient and I've had friends and family members comment on the healthy glow of my skin and hair. I feel good on the inside and it shows on the outside too. I am very impressed with the entire Green Foods family of products. Green Foods... you complete me! It is very reassuring to know that Green Foods is backed by plenty of clinical research and consumer satisfaction. I could go on and on about essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, chlorophyll, carotenoids, flavonoids, and other valuable phytochemicals that support a healthy body but I will leave that to the experts. When I wake up in the morning I look forward to a great, healthful start to my day with flavorful Green Foods products such as Green Magma or Magma Plus. Later on in the day, I enjoy a True Vitality vegan shake and I add other products available from Green Foods throughout the day. Anyone can benefit from taking Green Foods, try it and you'll feel and see the difference for yourself!

I am so happy that I discovered Xtenex. Xtenex laces are so comfortable when training or racing. I have Xtenex laces in all of my running shoes, work shoes, hiking and dress shoes. They make running more pleasurable and they look cool too! I strongly recommend Xtenex for everybody from serious athletes to weekend warriors. It is great knowing that as your feet swell the Xtenex laces stretch. I have always had a problem with getting my shoe laces to just the right tension, so as a result I would always tie my laces too tight. As my feet swelled during the later hours of a race the laces would end up being much too tight, resulting in discomfort and numbness. It is reassuring to know that one does not have to stop during a race, cool down and waste precious time to re-tie or tighten their laces. If I do have to change my shoes the change is very quick and this is important when the hands are cold, wet and shaking. Xtenex, what a great fit!!

My Kahtoolas make running in Edmonton's River Valley very enjoyable during the winter months. I venture out on treacherous, icy areas where others may not go. I look forward to newly fallen snow as just another challenge. Even when spring arrives and we are in a constant freeze/thaw cycle, my Kahtoolas never let me down. They are fantastic! I make tracks and trails with my Kahtoolas and I can run with confidence when I have Kahtoolas on my shoes. They offer such great traction that I am free to explore all types of terrain in all kinds of weather conditions. The KTS Crampons offer super traction. I recommend Kahtoolas for other runners and everybody participating in winter activities from serious athletes to recreational. Microspikes offer great traction on the trail or icy road. I put them in my jacket pocket if I do not need them and it takes only seconds to put them on my shoes if I do need them. I find they fit on my shoes snuggly so having them slip off is not a worry at all. I find the snow shoes very well built, strong and easy to use. I love my Kahtoolas!

I feel revitalized and invigorated after using the Transdermal Magnesium product line by Subtle Energy Therapy. Transdermal Magnesium is a naturally occurring nutritional mineral extracted from a specific part of the Dead Sea. Adequate cellular levels of magnesium are necessary for a healthy body. Because much of the earth's soil is depleted of magnesium, it is necessary to supplement even the most well balanced diet. Spraying and rubbing in Cell Mg oil, Cell Mg Body gel as well as soaking in the tub or taking a foot bath with the Cell Mg bath salts, it is absorbed through our body's largest organ, the skin. Transdermal Magnesium is beneficial because it decreases swelling and inflammation after any type of exercise and it also helps me to relax and relieve stress. It also allows me to sleep soundly after even the most gruelling race. As any athlete can testify, recovery can be just as important as training so I use these products regularly regularly (on and off season) and I never forget to bring it to races. An adequate magnesium level helps my body fight fatigue and heat exhaustion, controls my blood sugar and regulates my metabolism. I believe that I am able to partially avoid Injuries when I use Transdermal Magnesium before and after training and racing and it also acts as a lactic acid buffer. I believe that Magnesium is the single most important mineral for sports nutrition and should not be overlooked by anyone wanting to maintain a healthy body.

e load is the best electrolyte replacement drink that I've ever used and I've tried many. The flavours are light and mild, yet tasty. Even after several hours into a run or race I find that e load is still satisfying. I like the fact that e load, Zone Caps and EMEND are simple in the ingredients used and easy to digest. I like the security of knowing that if I start to run low on electrolytes I can count on some Zone Caps. As I mentioned, I think the eload and EMEND are fantastic and the e load energy gels are the best I've ever come across.

Buffs are very comfortable for racing and training. They offer protection from the elements; cold, wind, sun and even UV protection. When my Buff is not needed, I simply wear it around my wrist. On those days where the weather looks ominous, I never leave home without it. It is reassuring to know that Buffs come in various degrees of warmth. Even on those cool or very cold days, I know I’ll be fine. I might grab a Polar Buff, a Hoody Buff or maybe a Reversible Storm Buff for extreme conditions. Buffs are so versatile and they can be worn many different ways; as a headband, wristband, balaclava, scarf, hair scrunchie, beanie, bandana, you get the idea. All of the different choices are not only fun, but I also very trendy. They compliment my running, walking or hiking attire. I always have one with me even when volunteering at races, crewing runners or just hanging out. I like to bring an extra one too because you never know who might benefit from wearing one.
